Required Skills/Qualification:
- Hands-on knowledge of mechanical design
- Knowledge of basic electronics for motor control, sensor interfacing etc.
- Ability to work in softwares like Solid Works / Autocad / CATIA
- Understanding of enclosure design in sheet metal, vacuum forming, wood
- Knowledge of CNC techniques for manufacturing
- Basic understanding of design for 3D printing
- Building rapid prototypes and making them production ready
- Be flexible in organizing the work as per requirements
- Well organized and autonomous
- Experience and ability to teach or instruct co-workers.
- Open for feedback and enjoy working in a fast paced, constantly iterating environment
Job Responsibility:
- working on core design of the mechatronics behind futuristic interactive systems.
- must prepare and adhere to product development plans.
- Ability to work independently and must have experience to work with suppliers and visit suppliers per requirements.
- must have knowledge of machining process, sheet metal process, etc.
- Demonstrate leadership experience as well as the ability to lead a group of engineers and also be able to work independently.
- Ability to anticipate potential problems, determine and implement solutions.
- working closely with Project Managers and Engineers for developing new products and applications in the field of interactive systems.
- working closely with the management team in evaluating current systems and making decisions on future development.
- Analyse, design, coordinate and supervise the development of systems.
- Able to Do basic engineering hand calculations.
- Ability to select parts from supplier catalogues (Motor selection, gear box selection etc.)
- Lead prototyping to production process for electro-mechanical designs.
- adhering to quality standards.
- Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.
- Support, maintain and document projects executed.
